Basic Care:
• Light: Bright indirect light — avoid direct sun which will scorch leaves
• Water: Keep evenly moist but never waterlogged — allow top of substrate to begin drying between waterings once established
• Humidity: 60-80% preferred, especially during acclimation
• Soil: Well draining airy mix — peat, perlite, and fine bark
• Temperature: 65-80°F
• Feeding: Light diluted fertilizer during active growing season optional
A note for begonia lovers: Begonias are some of the most rewarding plants in the hobby, but they are also among the more sensitive species to acclimate from tissue culture. We recommend this plant for growers with some prior TC acclimation experience. Some transit stress and initial leaf melt during acclimation is completely normal and expected as the plant adjusts from sterile lab conditions to the outside world — this is not an indication of a problem and is not cause for a refund. With patience and proper humidity during acclimation, your begonia will reward you beautifully.
