Pinguicula 'Marciano' is a gorgeous Mexican butterwort cultivar prized for its beautiful rosette form and striking coloration. Mexican Pinguicula are beloved by collectors for their dual nature — acting as carnivorous plants in their summer carnivorous phase while shifting to a compact succulent-like winter rosette. 'Marciano' is particularly sought after for its vibrant appearance and manageable size. Available as sterile tissue culture plantlets — rarely offered in TC form.

Mexican Pinguicula prefer bright indirect light to partial sun. Use a well-draining mineral mix (pumice, perlite, vermiculite). Water from below in summer carnivorous phase. Allow to dry slightly in winter succulent phase. No tap water. Temperatures 50-85°F. No dormancy required but growth slows in winter.
