You are purchasing a multi pack of 3 sterile tissue culture (in vitro) flasks of 1 plant each.

These plants arrive sealed in a clear polypropylene bag with our premium nutrient media (using gellan gum for superior clarity and performance). Each flask contains 1 healthy plantlet, ready for you to acclimate to soil.

Why Our Tissue Culture?

• 100% sterile & pest-free — straight from lab conditions, no snails, mold, algae, or diseases.

• Gellan gum media — superior to traditional agar: clearer gel for easy observation of roots and early contamination, firmer structure at lower concentrations, and better nutrient availability for healthy growth.

• Some loose media bits in the flask are normal and harmless.

Important Disclaimers & Acclimation Info:

These are in vitro (tissue culture) plants still growing in sterile nutrient gel — they are NOT potted in soil yet.

• Some leaf loss/melt is normal during acclimation as plants adjust from high-humidity sterile conditions to real-world air. Be patient — new growth usually appears in 2–6 weeks with proper care.

• Acclimation required: Gently rinse off gel, plant in carnivorous-specific soil (peat/perlite or sand mix — available in our shop as acclimation kits!), and use high humidity (dome/bag) initially, gradually venting over 4 weeks. Full instructions included with every order.

• Carnivorous soil needed — These plants require nutrient-poor, acidic media and pure water (distilled, RO, or rainwater only). Check our shop for ready-to-use carnivorous plant potting kits/ bags of substrate. Our soil is specially formulated specifically for carnivorous plants with peat moss, perlite, silica sand, and activated charcoal.

  • Processing Times/ Shipping Days

We only ship live plants/tissue culture media kits on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to avoid your package sitting over the weekend on a truck/the post office. For holidays, we will only ship at least 3 days before the holiday for the same reason.

    Packaging

All packages are shipped via USPS Priority mail to avoid degradation of media/live plants and ensure you get your package in a timely manner. We carefully wrap all items in crumpled paper and bubble wrap for protection during shipping. During cold weather it is recommended you add a heat pack and styrofoam insulation box for live plant orders, particularly tissue culture plants which can be more fragile than acclimated plants, from the shop.

    Live Arrival Guarantee

We have a live arrival guarantee on live plants, however if temperatures are expected to be below 50 degrees Fahrenheit at the destination/transit, buyer accepts responsibility for dead plants. If a plant is received DOA, please send a video within 6 hours of package delivery to discuss a refund or replacement. It is recommended to record an unboxing video for proof of DOA.

Please understand shipping is a traumatic process for live plants - some damage, including browning or melting leaves, is normal. Plants often bounce back with proper love and care/time to acclimate. A DOA plant is a plant that is truly dead.

Please see Shipping Policy and Return Policy pages for information on returns.

  • Return/Refund Policy for Live Plants

All sales are final. Please contact us within 6 hours for live plant delivery, or 24 hours for tissue kit/acclimation kit/substrate delivery to discuss a refund or replacement for damaged packages with video proof of unboxing package to show damage. You can send inquiries to bitebloombotanicals@gmail.com or use the contact us feature on our website.

    For tissue culture kits:

Some media displacement during shipping is normal, however, if you receive your tissue culture media totally messed up, please send us video proof within 24 hours of the package being unboxed and showing the damaged items and we can discuss a refund or replacement.

    Live Arrival Guarantee/DOA Policy

We guarantee the live arrival of plants except during cold weather below 50 degrees farenheit at destination location where no winter shipping protection was used. Please ensure you are adding a heat pack and insulation to your order during cold temps. If no heat pack and insulation is used, buyer accepts full responsibility for DOA plants and refunds will not be issued.

    Lost packages, mis delivery, etc

Bite and Bloom botanicals is not responsible for USPS lost or damaged packages, delays, or damage during transport. Please direct any shipping claims to the carrier (your local USPS). If your items arrive to you damaged under normal shipping conditions and (for live plants) a heat pack and insulation was used, please see our live arrival guarantee policy.
