Everything in my original beginner tissue cloning kit but this is a combination deal that also includes my complete ACCLIMATION kit for after your clones are all grown up and graduating from their tissue culture vessels!

Clone your own plants at home with this complete kit! It includes everything you need to start 5 tissue cultures, using professional-grade materials for the best chance of success.

What's Included in Tissue Culture Kit:

5 pre-filled 5.5 oz polypropylene deli cups with vented lids (filters block 0.25 microns), sealed in parafilm for sterility

5 strips (3"" each) of lab-grade parafilm for resealing

1x scalpel

1x pair of tweezers

Step-by Step Instructions

Acclimation Kit:

5 x 3" Acclimation Pots and Domes w/ Adjustable Vents

Enough substrate to fill the pots, I use a combination of fluval stratum (volcanic granules containing macro and micro nutrients plants need to thrive + develop healthy roots) and perlite (prevents root rot and encourages drainage) with activated charcoal.

5x small bags of rooting hormone

Step-by-Step Instructions

What You'll Need at Home (Not Included):

A still air box or flow hood (easy DIY tutorials on YouTube or affordable options on Amazon)

Bleach

70% alcohol

A plant cutting to clone

Why This Kit Stands Out:

-Custom vented lids I make myself, with filters that block particles down to 0.25 microns — letting plants "breathe" while staying protected.

-Media poured fresh into cups, properly sterilized in a pressure canner at 15 PSI (true lab-standard sterilization, not just an Instant Pot).

-Sealed with lab-grade parafilm to stay contamination-free until you're ready.

-Uses high-quality gellan gum (not basic agar) for a firmer, more stable gel that's clearer (easier to see root and callus growth), temperature-resistant, and holds up better in shipping.

-Media made fresh to order for maximum freshness.

Please see my other listings if you need more acclimation kits and end up with more plants than you expected (as tends to happen with successful cloning!)

Important Notes & Disclaimers:

Success depends on your technique. You are fully responsible for proper workspace sterilization, plant material prep, tools, and following aseptic (sterile) protocols. Tissue culture has a learning curve — even with this beginner-friendly kit — and best results come from working in a clean environment like a still air box or flow hood.

The seller provides sterile, high-quality materials but cannot guarantee your results due to variables outside our control (e.g., user technique, environment, or contamination during use).

No refunds or returns for unsuccessful cultures, contamination, or buyer's remorse. Refunds only issued for damaged items upon receipt of photos within 24 hours of delivery.

Store media in the refrigerator for longest shelf life (safe at room temperature for several weeks).

FOR LAB USE ONLY

This product is sold for hobby/educational use only. Use at your own risk. The seller is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or unsuccessful outcomes arising from use of this kit. Adult supervision recommended if involving minors. Always follow safe handling practices with tools and chemicals.

  • Return/Refund Policy for Live Plants

All sales are final. Please contact us within 6 hours for live plant delivery, or 24 hours for tissue kit/acclimation kit/substrate delivery to discuss a refund or replacement for damaged packages with video proof of unboxing package to show damage. You can send inquiries to bitebloombotanicals@gmail.com or use the contact us feature on our website.

    For tissue culture kits:

Some media displacement during shipping is normal, however, if you receive your tissue culture media totally messed up, please send us video proof within 24 hours of the package being unboxed and showing the damaged items and we can discuss a refund or replacement.

    Live Arrival Guarantee/DOA Policy

We guarantee the live arrival of plants except during cold weather below 50 degrees farenheit at destination location where no winter shipping protection was used. Please ensure you are adding a heat pack and insulation to your order during cold temps. If no heat pack and insulation is used, buyer accepts full responsibility for DOA plants and refunds will not be issued.

    Lost packages, mis delivery, etc

Bite and Bloom botanicals is not responsible for USPS lost or damaged packages, delays, or damage during transport. Please direct any shipping claims to the carrier (your local USPS). If your items arrive to you damaged under normal shipping conditions and (for live plants) a heat pack and insulation was used, please see our live arrival guarantee policy.

  • Processing Times/ Shipping Days

We only ship live plants/tissue culture media kits on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to avoid your package sitting over the weekend on a truck/the post office. For holidays, we will only ship at least 3 days before the holiday for the same reason.

    Packaging

All packages are shipped via USPS Priority mail to avoid degradation of media/live plants and ensure you get your package in a timely manner. We carefully wrap all items in crumpled paper and bubble wrap for protection during shipping. During cold weather it is recommended you add a heat pack and styrofoam insulation box for live plant orders, particularly tissue culture plants which can be more fragile than acclimated plants, from the shop.

    Live Arrival Guarantee

We have a live arrival guarantee on live plants, however if temperatures are expected to be below 50 degrees Fahrenheit at the destination/transit, buyer accepts responsibility for dead plants. If a plant is received DOA, please send a video within 6 hours of package delivery to discuss a refund or replacement. It is recommended to record an unboxing video for proof of DOA.

Please understand shipping is a traumatic process for live plants - some damage, including browning or melting leaves, is normal. Plants often bounce back with proper love and care/time to acclimate. A DOA plant is a plant that is truly dead.

Please see Shipping Policy and Return Policy pages for information on returns.
